I came across this great powershell script that uses SQLIO to measure IOPS and transfer speeds.

VM's failing to assign their IP after a reboot due a false duplicate address on the network
Although this article is for VMWARE the fix works for HYPER-V systems as well when your VMs are giving a false duplicate IP error on reboot.
